Taxes and other budget revenues in the countries of the world
Taxes and other revenues reflect the total amount of taxes and other revenues received by the budget of the country for a specified period of time, expressed as a percentage of GDP.
Taxes include personal and corporate income taxes, value-added taxes, excise taxes, and other fees. Other revenues include social contributions-such as social security and hospital insurance payments-grants and the net profits of state-owned enterprises.
