Medical rankings
Numbeo, the world’s largest database on cities and countries, has published statistics on the level of medical care in different countries (Health Care Index for Country). Experts evaluated the overall quality of healthcare systems, the equipment of hospitals, the professional level of doctors and other medical personnel, as well as the cost of services in clinics. Information is collected on the basis of a survey of residents of the respective countries, rather than on the basis of data from national statistics services. Thus, an overall index has been compiled, the Healthcare Quality Index, which comprehensively shows how bad or good the country’s medical care is. The higher the index, the better the quality of service. The last time the ranking of countries by the level of medicine in the world was updated in mid-2021.
